You might be wondering what is top of the funnel exactly? When you picture an actual funnel it’s wide at the top and narrows at the bottom. The widest part is when all your leads are coming in to go through the funnel to become a customer at the bottom.
Top of funnel in marketing is the process of marketing to a wide audience to build brand awareness and capture as many leads as possible.
Since the audiences are mainly searching for information at the top of the funnel, the primary goals of marketing at the top of the funnel are awareness and lead generation.
