Welcome back to another episode! When it comes to designing your landing page, it’s so easy to get carried away on adding some crazy cute design and make it look all pretty. Trust me…I know!! Did you know that I secretly think I’m a graphic designer?
Here’s the thing, cute doesn’t sell. It took a little convincing and data to prove to me that it was true. When I say your sales page shouldn’t be cute, I’m not just talking about the design. Your goal is to make sure your messaging is legible and clear so today is all about why your sales page shouldn’t be too cute!
Let’s dive into 10 essential elements that every sales page should have…
“Your headline must pre-qualify the reader based on their needs and wants…” At minute 2:45, we have to start with making a headline and sub-headline that makes promises and demands attention followed by enticing paragraphs in every section.
“Facts tell and stories sell…” At 6:15, people buy from people and become emotionally connected because of a story so let’s talk about how you can share your experience and a great place to add details that build rapport and credibility.
“Why should anyone read this?…” At minute 15:05, let’s talk about two powerful purposes subheads have in a high-conversion sales letter and why testimonials are a MUST!
“Paint a clear picture of everything they’re getting…” At 19:14, hear how to prove how the product or service worked for you and give them an offer they can’t refuse.
“People are terrified of being oversold, scammed, and taken advantage of…” At minute 26:05, let’s create a risk-free environment and the last element your sales page needs to be a success!
Cheers to building a highly converting sales page. Until next time! Happy Marketing!
